SSD or Hard Drive Full of Mulu? Use SpaceSniffer!

SpaceSniffer, a software used to analyze storage such as HDD/SSD and map it so it’s easy to see. This application is very helpful for those of you who are confused why the storage is suddenly full or confused about what makes the storage full. The real example is myself, before using this application my SSD was only empty as much as 100GB and I was confused even though I didn’t seem to use it too much, then my friend recommended this application I immediately executed it and after sorting out the empty ones it ended up being 250GB.

How to use SpaceSniffer

Select the storage you want to check

For example, mine only has disk C, after that click start and loading will occur as shown below.

View and select which folders/files you want to delete

After the scan is complete, the next step is to choose which files you want to delete, it will say how big the files are on your computer/laptop. For example, if you want to delete a file in “Videos”, then double-click on the big box, after that you will see what files are in that folder.

Right click and select delete

After selecting which files you want to delete, right-click and select delete the file. Apart from deleting the file, you can also open the file to make sure whether the file you really want to delete, by right-clicking and selecting Properties and seeing which partition and folder it is on. If the file is a video, right-click and select Play to play the video. Download SpaceSniffer on the official website SpaceSniffer download (uderzo.it) Thanks for reading!
