Hector, the name of the bastard boss who is hard to beat by F2P players, I will share tips on defeating Hector ni no kuni for you, dear readers.
Who Is Hector?
Hector is the mini boss in the main story of Ni No Kuni: CrossWorlds. This boss is of the “Light” type and has annoying health regeneration. If you’re a F2P player or free to play, maybe this one boss feels really annoying and is quite a hindrance to your playing progress.
How to Beat Hector?
There are several reasons why you can’t beat Hector.
- Your CP is not sufficient “Suggested CP”
- The level is still too low causing a miss.
- Accuracy is too low.
- Less Damage/Less Defense.
Okay, I’ll just give tips on defeating this insolent creature.
Use All Buffs
That’s right, using all the buffs available in the game is one of the ways to defeat Hector, I’ll list what buffs you can get with not too difficult difficulties.
- Buff Kingdom
- Food Buffs
- Buff Relics
Buff Kingdom
You can get the kingdom buff by going to the dominion kingdom, then going to the Theater npc. The picture below will show who it is. Choose the ” Soul Attack ” and ” Soul Shield ” buffs then apply the two buffs, or if you are a sultan and have a lot of kingdom coins, it’s okay to use all the buffs in the theater anyway.
Food Buffs
For food buffs you can get it from cooking in the Kingdom and from the shop, for those in the kingdom there are 2 types namely ” Dishes ” and ” Feast “, both are good but I suggest to focus on cooking which only gives +Attack effects. To find out the effect of the food you can click and hold on the menu that is there. The difference between Dishes and Feast is: Dishes are eaten alone while Feast can be eaten together (for 5 servings). The most important point to remember, look for the +Attack because Hector’s attacks are very easy to avoid. There are also other buffs in the shop, you can open the shop and search for the basic shop and then there is an orange bread, it’s not bad to add +100 Attack.
Buff Relics
For this one buff, it’s a new buff in Ni no Kuni: Global version of CrossWorlds, you can find it in Menu > Battlefield > Relic War, to buy it you need 5000 obsidian and the duration of the buff lasts for 1 hour (expensive), so I I don’t really recommend using this buff, unless your Attack is too small.
Stats
For stats what I mean here is your minimum Attack, you can check how many attacks the character has from the inventory and click the magnifying glass. At a minimum, maybe that’s it, the characters in the screenshot above have a total CP of 470k+, so you can more or less estimate the CP needed to be strong enough to beat Hector ni no kuni.
Weapon Upgrades
Yep, upgrade your weapon as much as possible and to defeat Hector who is of the Light type, you try to upgrade your weapon of the Dark type. Don’t forget to fill in the gem slots in each weapon, to open all the gem slots in the weapon, you must upgrade the weapon to 6 stars.
skills
Skill is one of the important things to fight Hector, so prepare your best skill set! I recommend those that have the effect of reducing armor/defense, or any skills that are of the Dark type.
Closing
Of all the tips that I gave above, the most important thing to pay attention to is the amount of your Attack and the Buff that you need to activate before fighting Hector, of course CP is no less important in this case. Maybe if you have difficulty or are confused about where to get CP from, you can check my post, namely
