This prototype tire was designed to overcome the unique challenges offered by the lunar surface. With its rough texture, fine dust, and unpredictable terrain, the moon is a demanding environment for any vehicle. This location, not far from Michelin Headquarters in Clermont-Ferrand in the Massif Central, was chosen as the test site.
