What is the meaning of the word hatch?

What comes to your mind when you hear the word hatch? Maybe you will think about a chicken, duck or bird egg breaking open and releasing its young. Or maybe you will think about flowers blooming and showing their beauty. But did you know that hatching has a broader and deeper meaning than just coming out of a shell or petal?

According to the Big Indonesian Dictionary (KBBI), hatching means starting to live or develop (about living things); appear; arise; happen. From this definition, we can see that hatching is a process that involves change and growth. Hatching is also the beginning of something new and fresh.

The hatching process is not always easy and fast. There are many factors that influence hatching success, such as temperature, humidity, nutrition, and others. Some living creatures take a long time to hatch, such as turtles which can take up to 60 days. Some living creatures also experience difficulties or danger when they hatch, such as butterflies which have to struggle to get out of their cocoons.

But all the effort and sacrifice was not in vain. After hatching, living creatures will experience a new and different world. They will have the opportunity to learn, adapt, and reproduce. They will also have roles and functions in their ecosystem and environment.

Hatching in Human Life

Hatching in human life is a process that involves various aspects, such as education, career, family, and others. This process can be different for each individual, depending on the choices, opportunities and challenges faced. However, in general, hatching in human life can be explained as follows:

Education

The hatching process in the educational aspect begins when children enter elementary school and continues until college or higher. In this process, individuals learn various knowledge, skills, and values that are useful for their lives. Individuals also develop their interests, talents and potential in certain fields. The hatching process in the educational aspect can be measured by the level of education achieved, academic achievements achieved, or degrees obtained.

Career

The hatching process in career aspects begins when individuals enter the world of work and continues until retirement or longer. In this process, individuals look for jobs that match their interests, talents, and qualifications. Individuals also seek to improve their performance, competence and well-being at work. Individuals also face various challenges, opportunities, and competition in their careers. The career aspect of the hatching process can be measured by the position held, income earned, or contributions made.

Family

The hatching process in the family aspect begins when individuals marry or form a long-term relationship with their partner and continues until the end of their lives. In this process, individuals build bonds of love, trust, and commitment with their partners. Individuals are also responsible for raising and educating their children (if any). Individuals also maintain harmonious relationships with their extended family (parents, siblings, etc.). The hatching process in the family aspect can be measured by the quality of the relationships built, the number of children they have, or the happiness they feel.

Etc

The hatching process in other aspects includes various matters related to personal, social, spiritual or other life. In this process, individuals pursue their hobbies, interests, or ideals. Individuals also interact with friends, neighbors, or the community around them. Individuals also practice their religion, beliefs, or values. The hatching process in other aspects can be measured by the level of self-satisfaction, social involvement, or closeness to God.

However, we have also felt happiness, pride and hope in achieving our achievements and success. We have also felt love, affection and friendship in relationships with the people around us. We have also felt peace, gratitude and optimism in responding to life positively.

Real example

To provide a clearer picture of the hatching process in human life, here are several examples of real cases that can be an inspiration for us:

JK Rowling

The author of the Harry Potter novels, who is famous throughout the world, experienced difficult times before he succeeded in publishing his work. He has experienced divorce, poverty, depression, and rejection from many publishers. However, he never gave up continuing to write and sent his manuscripts to various publishers. Finally he succeeded in finding a publisher who was willing to accept his work and made him one of the richest writers in the world.

Nelson Mandela

The figure of the anti-apartheid struggle in South Africa who later became his country's first democratically elected president, spent 27 years in prison for his activities which were considered terrorist by the apartheid regime. However, he never lost his enthusiasm and hope to see his country free from racial discrimination. He continues to communicate with his supporters and negotiates with the government. Finally he was released from prison and succeeded in ending the apartheid system in South Africa.

Malala Yousafzai

The Pakistani women's education rights activist, who became the youngest Nobel Peace Prize recipient in history, experienced an assassination attempt by the Taliban for opposing their ban on women's education. He was shot in the head and had to undergo surgery and rehabilitation in England. However, she was never afraid to continue voicing the rights of women and children to get a decent education. She founded an organization called the Malala Fund which aims to help children, especially girls, gain access to education throughout the world.

From the examples above, we can see that hatching is not easy, but it is also not impossible. We all have the ability to emerge from all the limitations and difficulties we face. We all have the potential to create something new and useful for ourselves and others. We all have a meaning in life that we can realize in our own way.

All of this is proof that we have emerged from our comfort zone and limitations. We have shown that we are capable of developing and changing for the better. We have proven that we have extraordinary potential and abilities. We have realized that we have a noble purpose and meaning in life.

Therefore, never be afraid to hatch. Never hesitate to try new things and take risks. Never stop learning and creating. Never give up dreaming and fighting. Because hatching is the essence of life itself.
